About us
Roo the Leather Carver is a small family run business. Roo, the owner, started leather carving as a hobby in his early twenties. Some years later, his family became involved and he has been passing his immense knowlege on to them ever since.
Martyn, Roo's nephew, has mastered the art of carving on to leather and is now just as much of a perfectionist as his uncle.
Roo's sister Kath has found her niche and enjoys designing and stamping pattens onto the leather. Zoe, Chris and Helen are also involved and bring their own specialist skills to the team.
The business has been running for a couple of years and we visit numerous medieval events across the country, every year, so look out for us at an event near you. Our business is based just outside the city of Preston in Lancashire, North West England.

The team at Roo the Leather Carver are happy to attempt requests for commissions, if you require a specialist leather product making if you contact us with your request then we will be happy to discuss your requirements and decide on the best plan of action.
