11th & 12th February 2012 . The Foreign Field LRP Kit Fair
The Passenger Shed, Brunel's Old Station - Bristol
The event is open to role-players and members of the public alike and offers both market and meeting place for the UK's roleplayers as well as the opportunity to meet people representing and promoting the newer games in this hobby.
As well as the shopping experience this year we will be offering the regular Fantasy Fashion Show and a bigger and more lucrative Free Prize Draw.
24th, 25th & 26th February 2012 - The International Living History Fayre.
The International Living History Fair is a perfect place for Re-enactors, Historical Interpreters, Museum buyers, and Collectors to find that elusive piece of equipment. With over 100 Traders covering Roman History to World War Two History this Exhibition, held twice each year, is the perfect place to find out all you need to know about recreating the past.
3rd & 4th March 2012 - Historia Originata
First held in May 2010 in Carlisle – the show was such a success that those behind the show have decided to make it an annual event. Historia Originata was created as a trade show aimed at re-enactors and history/museum professionals in northern England, Scotland and N Ireland. It did exactly what it promised, and attracted potential buyers from these areas. This was followed by the second Historia Originata in October, 2010, the third show in May, 2011 and now the fourth show is confirmed for March, 2012.

7th & 8th April 2012 - Glastonbury Medieval Festival
A fun medieval event near Glastonbury, also the fist meating of 2012 for the Archers medieval socity.
21st & 22nd April 2012 - St Georges Weekend at Wrest Park
St George's Day Festival This Easter visit the largest St George's Day Festival in the country. Wander through our time zones to experience England's incredible history, from 1940s land girls to jousting knights, a Victorian travelling show to the Roman army!
5th, 6th & 7th May 2012 - Pensthorpe Norfolk. The May Spring Festival
Celebrate the beginning of Summer. Learn the art of Maypole dancing, May Queen / Green Man Fancy Dress Competition, Hobby Horse races, traditional dancing, Storytelling, floral head dress workshops, Fire performance, music, face painting and re - enactors throughout the ages bringing to life the history of traditional May Day celebrations.

12th & 13th May 2012 - Rufford Abbey Country Park, Grand Historical Bazaar
Come along and take part in, or simply visit, our annual large historical multi-period Bring and Buy sale! Covering all periods, there will be something of interest for every visitor, historical trader, enthusiast, re-enactor, historical group, and schoolchild.
There’s plenty to browse, buy and to look at. Bring along those unwanted historical or historically themed items! It’s a chance to sell, swap, buy, or even give away, all manner of new and second hand items, including: clothing, uniforms, model soldiers, militaria, equipment, weaponry, antiques, pictures, prints & postcards, books, DVDs, games and much more.
There will also be period vehicles on show, and re-enactors here in costume, with their multi period living history activities and displays taking place throughout the weekend.
2nd, 3rd, 4 th & 5th June 2012 - The Colchester Medieval Festival and Oyster Fayre
Each June we stage a full medieval style fair, with many of the peripheral activities that this major annual event of the period would have offered. It remembers a time when folk from the countryside and neighbouring villages would travel to the ‘Big Fair’ in the town. This year due to the extended bank holiday, this event is 4 days.
16th & 17th June 2012 - Tatton Park Medieval Fayre
'See it, live it, smell it!' Medieval re-enactment, combat and entertainment both indoors and out at Tatton's Old Hall.
7th & 8th July 2012 - Chetwynd Lavender Festival.
Welcome to a weekend of Medieval Life set in the grounds of the beautiful Berkeley Castle. Wander amongst the Living History camps and see up close and personal what it was like to be on tour with a medieval army. Shop to your hearts content through the market place. With a wide variety of historic traders selling their wares.
14th & 15th July 2012 - Tewksbury Medieval Festival
Come and visit the largest medieval festival in Europe. Take a strole through the Medieval market and watch the largest medieval re-enactment.
14th & 15th July 2012 - Kelmarsh Festival of History.
The ultimate historical adventure and a block buster of an event; the Festival of History is the highlight of the English Heritage event calendar.
Experience over 2000 years of history and watch as over 1,000 re-enactors march out of history and into the heart of England. Hear the thud of Roman soldiers as they march in unison, the thunder of charging horses, swords clash as Knights engage in battle and the roar of vintage fighter planes as they soar overhead.
21st & 22nd July 2012 - Berkley Castle Medieval Festival .
Welcome to a weekend of Medieval Life set in the grounds of the beautiful Berkeley Castle. Wander amongst the Living History camps and see up close and personal what it was like to be on tour with a medieval army. Shop to your hearts content through the market place. With a wide variety of historic traders selling their wares.

18th & 19st August 2012 - Scotland's Festival of History, Lanark .
The organisers of Scotland's main re-enactment event of the year invite you to take part and join us in the history steeped Royal & Ancient Burgh of Lanark, where William Wallace began the real Braveheart story.
25th, 26th & 28th August 2012 - Herstmonceux Castle Medieval Event
Held annually since 1992 over the three days of August Bank Holiday Weekend, England's Medieval Festival at Herstmonceux Castle is Britain's most magnificant celebration of the Middle Ages.
September 2012 - The Battle of Mortimers Cross
Come and see what the battle was all about and how it would have felt and sounded to be there (only on a smaller scale). Feel the excitement and share the pains, all in a safe and family friendly enviroment.

Dates TBC November 2010 - Ludlow Castle Medieval Christmas Fayre.
Jugglers, jesters, entertainers, archery, historical re-enactments create a medieval atmosphere for your Christmas shopping! You can buy all sorts of goodies for your Christmas stocking from over sixty stalls presented by traders from across the UK as well as popular local Ludlow traders, all dressed in medieval costumes. A great treat for all the family, in the glorious setting of medieval Ludlow Castle. Other themed events in Ludlow also add to the Christmas spirit this weekend.
