Our pouches are all carved and sewn by hand.
Our pouches are all designed to be worn on a belt, but if you require it we can make them with a sporran fitting or attach straps for a small surcharge. Several of our pouches with straps can be found in our handbag section as these can be worn either as a handbag or a waist bag. The soft fronted pouches are put together with saddle stitch and the hard fronted pouches have a four strand braid stitch sewing the back on as well as saddle stitch fastening the gusset to the front. Soft fronted pouches begin at £45 for plain ones and the hard fronted pouches begin at £70 for plain ones.
This carved leather pouch has a knotwork cross carved into the flap and a complicated knot carved into the base. This example is painted in copper with a gold highlight to tie in with the antique gold coloured twist lock closure.
