Cambridge Living History Fair - historical market with plenty on to entertain both you and the children including Devilstick Peat the jester and a fantastic storyteller. A brilliant day out for the whole family.

 Wrest Park St Georges Day Festival - an English Heritage event
March

TORM - the original reenactors market based near Coventry.

July

Tewkesbury Medieval festival - the biggest free medieval fair and battle in europe.

Heysham Viking festival - this is a really fun family friendly festival in the North West of England.  We really enjoyed it last year and are looking forward to going again!

August
Robin Hood Festival - set in Sherwood Forest, this festival is free to attend and truly magical complete with Robin Hood, the Sheriff, jousting, fairies, musicians and storytellers.
Herstmonceux Medieval Festival - there is a siege of the castle, an archery competition and plenty of historically themed as well as more modern stalls to browse while enjoying a glass of mead or a pint of ale from the beer tent.

Peterborough Cathedral - the whole city has a heritage festival and we are based within the beautiful cathedral grounds

Colchester Oyster Fayre - mostly medieval era. Good family fun, although we aren't sure we will make it this year!

Tatton Park - A brilliant battle, market and medieval re-enactment. Date dependent, we may not be able to attend this year unfortunately.

Rickmansworth River and Music festivalFabulous bands play throughout the day and evening with a vibrant mix of stalls and activities to enjoy.

TORM - the original reenactors market based near Coventry.

Ludlow Medieval Market - Held inside the grounds of Ludlow's picturesque castle, this market embodies British Christmas spirit.

December
1st and 2nd - St Annes Victorian Christmas Market - A new event for us at a beautiful sea-side town.  We will be outside Bonney's Fabrics on St Andrews Road South. They're turning on the Christmas lights on Saturday evening, plus a carol service, history tour and lots of other Christmassey stuff to get us in the mood!
